What’s your background?:

Daniel’s roots lie in Santa Maria, CA. His golfing journey commenced at Allan Hancock College and continued at Cal Poly SLO, culminating in a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. After graduating, Daniel embarked on a career as a golf professional at the esteemed San Luis Obispo Country Club, attaining Class A PGA Professional status in 2016. Subsequently, he seamlessly transitioned into the dynamic world of insurance. In 2021, Daniel made a significant move to San Diego, where he joyfully exchanged vows with his beloved wife, Rachel, in March 2022.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

When I am not working, I enjoy playing golf, making music, working out, and Santa Maria style BBQ.

Among my top three favorite podcasts and books are “Start With Why” by Simon Sinek, which delves into the importance of purpose and motivation in personal and professional endeavors. “Breaking The Habit of Being Yourself” by Dr. Joe Dispenza explores the science behind breaking free from negative thought patterns and transforming one’s life. Lastly, “The Way of The Seal” by Mark Divine offers insights into achieving mental toughness and peak performance through the principles of Navy SEAL training. These works have greatly influenced my perspective and approach to life and leadership.
