Dawn Forbrick
Commercial Lines CSR
What’s your background?:
I was born in Arcadia, CA, in a hospital located just across the street from the Santa Anita Race Track. Throughout my life, I have lived in Southern California. I began my career in the insurance industry, specifically in personal lines. Prior to working in insurance, I held administrative and office supervisor roles. I had the privilege of raising my two children in Claremont, CA. We were fortunate to live in a neighborhood where neighbors socialized, and our kids played together outdoors. This experience highlighted for me the significance of being part of a community and the impact it can have on our lives.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
When I’m not working, I find joy in various activities. I love exploring new hiking trails, diving into a good book, solving challenging puzzles, embarking on road trips to discover new places, preferably in warmer climates, and most importantly, spending quality time with my family.
What is your favorite quote?
“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose”
– Dr. Suess
What are your top 3 favorite Podcasts/Books?
When it comes to my favorite Podcasts/Books, I can’t choose just one. I’m particularly drawn to crime and suspense novels, so two recommendations that I highly suggest are “Memory Man” by David Baldacci and “Gone Girl” by Gillian Flynn. Recently, I revisited “To Kill a Mockingbird” and was reminded of how truly remarkable it is. Additionally, I’m constantly intrigued by true crime shows and podcasts.
